Brittany Johns, OTR/L

Hi, I’m Brittany! I am from the Barrington area and I recently graduated from Indiana State University with my masters in occupational therapy. Before becoming an occupational therapist, I worked full time at Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) with children and adults with disabilities. I worked to kickstart the after school programming and summer camps.

As an occupational therapist I have worked with children and youth with executive processing difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, motor planning challenges, fine and gross motor delays, visual motor deficits, and emotional/behavioral regulation difficulties. I have experience in the outpatient and school pediatric settings.

My favorite part of working with the pediatric population is facilitating skill acquisition and learning through play based interventions that challenge and empower the child. I look forward to working with your child and your family to educate, modify, adapt, restore, and establish skills to help your child reach their full potential.
